So, yeah people are up in arms that the Joker is doing evil things on the cover of a comic, so they complained and got it pulled. This is my response to such nonsense

People have made the argument against this cover "You wouldn't see BATMAN crying like that, would you??" No. You're absolutely right. He would not. Most people would suspect that Batman would not. So imagine how surprised the comic-buying public would be to see a cover that looked like the Joker had Batman bent over a barrel not unlike Batgirl here, and he too was sobbing in fear. Wouldn't an image like that DEMAND that you buy that comic to see what's happening?? Don't you NEED to know how someone with as strong a will as that would be broken to that degree?? I sure as hell would buy that comic!
And then you have all these other covers that show Batgirl and Joker switching places, where Joker is horribly beaten while Batgirl smiles maniacally about it because "You go girl!" Umm... No. That is GROSSLY out of character for a hero as substantial as Batgirl, and is WAY more offensive than anything the Joker did. That's NOT something to be cheering, people!
